The principle of freezing and unfreezing is when a Writ action is stopped upon the Plaintiff obtaining a Judgment in Default and continued upon the Defendant setting aside the said judgment whereby the issue of re-service of the Writ and the validity period of the Writ will come into play.Â
This article explores the timeline and validity period concerned in respect of such an issue pursuant to a recent Court of Appeal case.
